Major cryptocurrencies like ether and dogecoin also rallied, while crypto-related stocks such as Coinbase, Robinhood, and MicroStrategy jumped on optimism for a more supportive regulatory environment. Trump, a recent crypto advocate, has pledged to position the U.S. as a “crypto capital” and even floated the idea of a national Bitcoin reserve. Industry leaders welcomed the prospect of clearer, lighter regulations, though some experts urged caution, highlighting crypto’s notorious volatility. In terms of Solana, it has followed the market trends, back up to $187 after an 11% gain today.

FUTURE OF CRYPTO UNDER TRUMP 😱

With Donald Trump’s vow to make America the “crypto capital,” his election win has fueled a surge in the crypto sector, Silicon Valley, and pro-Trump investors. Stocks rose sharply Wednesday, driven by bets on assets that could benefit from his deregulation promises. Trump’s own wealth swelled, with shares in his media venture soaring over 30%, adding an estimated $300 million to his fortune. The crypto industry also celebrated, having invested over $200 million to elect pro-crypto candidates across Congress. Backed by record-breaking contributions, including $130 million from crypto companies alone, the sector is now optimistic about a friendlier regulatory environment under Trump. Politicians are even saying a potential Bitcoin reserve will be implemented.

Here is the “Crypto Plan” that should be taken into effect:

• Fire SEC chairman Gary Gensler on Day 1

• Appoint a new SEC chair who champions innovation over restriction

• Establish a Bitcoin/Crypto advisory council to create clear, industry-friendly guidelines

• Secure the future of crypto in the U.S.

• Protect the right to self-custody

• Keep Elizabeth Warren (Pocahontas) away from your Bitcoin

• Prevent the creation of a central bank digital currency

The real story here? Memecoins seemed to predict the election outcome better than mainstream media. Our HYPE Presidential Memecoin Index tracked a surge in Trump coins, which rose 38.9% leading up to his win, while Harris’s coin basket plummeted 91% within 24 hours. This shift captured voter sentiment and attention as it changed through election night, giving traders valuable insights. One standout was $DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), which surged 64% to a $3.6 million market cap on SOL and 30% to a $70 million market cap on ETH. Although most coins crashed post-election, this index offered a unique approach to forecasting momentum and sentiment, hinting at Trump’s victory before it was called. Some coins that snuck up the charts are one of the biggest in $GIGA and $SIGMA. Both of these coins hit ATH, with $GIGA suprassing $700 Million market cap, and $SIGMA hitting a $125 Million market cap. And the Kobe of the Lebron and Jordan debate in $ALPHA, hit a $7 Million market cap, up from $3 Million.
