The token’s market cap soared to $500 million at launch but plummeted to under $26 million shortly after, sparking accusations of insider trading and unfair distribution. Shockingly, 96% of $HAWK’s supply was bundled in one cluster, with data revealing that a single wallet purchased a significant amount of tokens at launch, making $2 million in just 10 minutes by offloading them.

The controversy has reignited concerns over the risks associated with celebrity-endorsed tokens and raised questions about the project’s integrity. Despite Welch’s claims of implementing safeguards and denying any wrongdoing, the concentrated token ownership and rapid crash have led to allegations of a rug pull. As investors demand greater accountability, $HAWK has become a cautionary tale of volatility and the dangers of meme coin speculation. Quite possibly the worst celebrity memecoin launch i’ve seen, especially due to her constant engagement with crypto twitter these last few months.

Have no fear, cause the degens will always ride for their community. $TUAH was created after this meltdown, standing for “Straight Tuah Prison”. This outcry has gotten support from all over the crypto community, pumping to a market cap of $11.1 Million. It’s very similar to the $QUANT memecoin last month, which ended up hitting a market cap of $80 Million. And its a play on her little catchphrase, where it flows perfectly, and she gets “punished”. She would never go to prison for any of this, even though plenty of people are calling for it. But let’s face it, is buying a $HAWK memecoin the safest bet with the repertoire that celebrity memecoins have. All this does is exemplify Iggy Azalea’s commitment to the degens in $MOTHER.
