CIRCLE IS SUING A MEMECOIN🫡

A Solana memecoin called $CRCL received a DMCA takedown notice on Solscan following a brand infringement complaint filed by Circle and its authorized reps, as shown in the screenshot. Solscan confirmed they are investigating the matter internally and instructed the token team to submit a formal counter notice with justification if they want the name reinstated. In response, the $CRCL team tweeted, “we are literally just a circle,” denying any brand connection. That tweet went viral with over 330K views, and the coin’s market cap exploded from $450K to $15M immediately after.

PUMPFUN CANCELLING IT’S PRESALE??🗣

Pump.fun’s rumored $4 billion token sale hit turbulence after Gate.io suddenly removed the official launch page without explanation. The now deleted listing showed a 72-hour IEO starting July 12, pricing 150 billion PUMP tokens at $0.004 each, which accounts for 15% of the total supply. The removal raised questions about the legitimacy of the offering, especially after Gate support issued a vague statement citing project negotiations. Despite no official confirmation, speculation about the launch has fueled trading activity. Riding that wave, a memecoin called $PUPFUN featuring a dog in a Pump.fun costume spiked 1,503% to a $1 million market cap. All of this amidst low numbers for their revenue compared to bonk.fun.

BONK GOES UP BUT LAUNCHPAD GOES DOWN

BONK has surged 66 percent over the past week, driven by explosive growth on its meme coin launchpad LetsBonk. The platform launched over 22,000 coins in a single day, more than doubling Pump.fun’s 9,800, and generated $1.23 million in revenue compared to Pump.fun’s $440,000. BONK has seen over $19 million in spot inflows. Despite these milestones, BONK is still trading below the $0.000024 resistance. The paradox: even as $LetsBONK hits record numbers and dominates the market, LetsBONK fell 40% today, where I question about the disconnect between real utility growth and token price performance. The actual $BONK token is down 0.4% today for reference.
