Following his historic reelection, JPMorgan analysts project that both Bitcoin and gold stand to benefit significantly from Donald Trump’s return to the White House. Bitcoin soared to an all-time high above $76,000 post-election, gaining over 19% in the past month, while gold is approaching the $2,700 mark. JPMorgan’s late-October research highlights the likelihood of a “debasement trade,” with investors favoring Bitcoin and gold as hedges against potential US dollar fluctuations amid rising geopolitical tension. This trend, sparked by Trump’s win, could push both assets to new highs as the market braces for shifts in economic policy.
The crypto market surged on Thursday, driven by Donald Trump’s election victory. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 3% to $76,300, while Ethereum (ETH) jumped 8% to $2,860, and Solana (SOL) saw gains of 5%. This rally pushed the global crypto market cap up by 2% to $2.68 trillion. Bitcoin’s open interest reached a record $45.78 billion, reflecting heightened demand, especially for long positions, as $334 million in short positions were liquidated in the last 24 hours.
Crypto-related stocks like Coinbase (COIN), Robinhood (HOOD), and MicroStrategy (MSTR) also surged, while the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq hit new highs, anticipating a likely Federal Reserve interest rate cut later today. This rally aligns with Bitcoin’s historical pattern of spiking during periods of heavy money printing and fiscal expansion, as seen in previous cycles. With Trump back in office and a looser fiscal policy expected, the correlation between monetary expansion and Bitcoin’s price action remains a focal point for investors, who see BTC as a hedge against inflationary pressures.

Might be a clickbait header, cause this is definitley no celebrity, but the Hawk Tuah girl is teasing a release of her own memecoin. After tweeting about the SOL memecoin $HawkTuah, which hit $1.4 Million after the tweet, she was asked about her own memecoin, responding with “coming soon”. Looking at her profile, she is trying to get into the crypto space, with BTC and memecoins being her focus, but I can’t tell if shes doing it just to pump and dump. For some reason, millennials think its hilarious, so that could bring in that age group to memecoins, idk.
