Known as Bitcoin Pizza Day, it celebrates the first recorded real world purchase using Bitcoin. The transaction gave Bitcoin practical utility beyond mining and theory. Laszlo’s purchase validated Bitcoin as a functioning currency and sparked a global tradition still honored 15 years later with meetups, pizza parties, and educational events. With BTC hitting an all time high on the anniversary, the story holds more weight than ever. What started with two pizzas now represents the leap from experiment to trillion dollar asset class. $PIZZACOIN ran up to a $713 Thousand market cap because of this remarkable day.
