The $HAWK memecoin, launched by Hailey Welch, peaked at over $500M in market cap before crashing more than 95% within hours, prompting a lawsuit from investors alleging $151K in losses, unregistered securities sales, and deceptive marketing. The lawsuit names developers OverHere Ltd, its executive Clinton So, promoter Alex Schultz (aka "Doc Hollywood"), and Tuah The Moon Foundation as defendants, accusing them of creating a speculative frenzy and conducting a rug pull. Welch is not named in the suit but denies involvement in the alleged misconduct. The token currently sits at a $7.2M market cap, down 24% in the three weeks since the scandal.
