One of the first meme’s of the big 25 is from none other than…. Instagram Reels. The memecoin meta has never been in contact with IG Reels, but this could be the headstart. A meme of a guy dancing while sitting courtside of a basketball game has surfaced, with people calling him “Chopped Chin”. This meme is MASSIVE on IG Reels, and I came across it migrating to TikTok as well. $CHOPPED, only 2 days old, sits at a market cap of $424 Thousand, with its peak at $612 Thousand last night. Can IG Reels become a meta if $CHOPPED pops?

CRAZY NEW GAIN🗣

Buzz, a memecoin on the Solana blockchain, skyrocketed to a $44.8 million market cap in just five hours, currently holding at $36.8 million. It was created by the Hive, a DeFi agent platform that previously won first place in the Microsoft Generative AI Hackathon. Despite the developer explicitly stating that Buzz was made purely for fun to build a community, speculation is rampant that the token may eventually integrate into the Hive ecosystem, which specializes in on-chain agent assistance and sentiment analytics.
With 28,000 holders and the top 10% owning 12.7% of the supply, the coin has seen steady growth with no significant dips. While some investors are closely monitoring for pullbacks, others have accused the project of being a LARP (Live Action Role Play) rather than a serious endeavor. For now, Buzz remains strictly a memecoin, as emphasized by its developer.

Quite possibly the best day of memecoins in a LONG TIME, as the big 3 currencies are all up. Thus, most of the established memecoins are up. I want to focus on the “Alpha coins” though, the $SIGMAS and the $GIGA’s of the world. $SIGMA is up 49.6% today, and $GIGA is up 20.6%, almost at a $1 Billion market cap. Also, $ALPHA is up 82% to a market cap of $1.1 Million. Are we getting the alpha renaissance back in the big 25?
