Some people think $HYPE replacing $SOL as the new L1 darling, the ecosystem is rapidly expanding, bolstered by high liquidity and a community-first distribution model. While $SOL remains a crypto staple, it’s undeniably feeling the heat. At a $26.8B market cap and $26 price tag, all eyes are on Hyperliquid for potential Binance or Coinbase listings.

HUGE CRYPTO SCAM IN NIGERIA
Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, EFCC, raided a seven-story luxury building in Lagos on December 10, arresting 792 suspects, including 148 Chinese and 40 Filipinos, in a massive crackdown on a crypto romance scam syndicate. The operation revealed a high-tech call center targeting victims in America, Europe, and beyond, using platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram to seduce them with fake profiles before pressuring them into bogus crypto investments via a fraudulent platform, Yooto.com. Investigators uncovered over 500 SIM cards, fake foreign numbers, and evidence of recruits trained for two weeks to impersonate foreign women in romance chats. The recruits, unaware of the scheme's scale, earned up to $500 monthly—ten times Nigeria's minimum wage—while the syndicate leaders raked in millions. EFCC’s chairman exposed how foreign crime syndicates exploit Nigeria’s reputation to mask their global operations, vowing no safe haven for criminals in the country. Stay safe real g’s.
