Pippin was one of Solana’s biggest early 2025 memecoin stories, running to a 255 million market cap in January after the AI origin story and heavy whale interest pushed it into the spotlight. It then completely faded, dropping to a stagnant 17 million market cap while the rest of the ecosystem rotated into newer meta plays. Now it is ripping again with a move back to $196 million, up 36% today, but traders are treating the rally with skepticism given the previous full collapse, and fake airdrop claim on X.

TCG launched today as the official streamer token for The Collector Group, a platform that opens Pokémon style packs live and gives holders discounts, early access, and sitewide perks tied to its rip and reveal marketplace. The team is pushing a full launch day schedule with onboarding, giveaways, airdrops, and multi hour streams to showcase the tech and pack openings. Despite launching less than an hour ago, $TCG briefly spiked to a 1.3 million market cap before cooling to 768 thousand, which is a surprisingly strong first move for a niche card breaking token straight out of the gate.
