$HALIBAN is a meme coin inspired by the viral nickname for Tyrese Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers guard whose dominant playoff run led fans to dub him “the Haliban” in reference to his terrorizing impact on opponents. The name, a controversial mashup of Haliburton and “Taliban,” gained traction during Indiana’s series win over the Knicks and spread widely on X with memes likening his clutch performances to calculated strikes. The token launched six days ago and is up 48% today, sitting at a $41 Thousand market cap. As the Pacers are up 2-1 against the Thunder, be weary as the series will be ending soon.

I mean, who would’ve thought $AURA would be going this strong still. Tbf, it is one of the most popular terms right now, but for some reason the coin was dead, until 2 days ago. On yesterday’s newsletter, $AURA peaked at $95 Million and was on its way down. Hold up wait a minute, they said $184 Million, BOOK IT. $AURA surpassed the 200m mark today and is now at that $184 Million level. For some more numbers, the coin has over 30k holders, and a 24hr volume of $39 Million.

GENIUS ACT PASSED IN SENATE

The GENIUS Act, the US stablecoin bill, advanced in the Senate with a 68-30 cloture vote, setting the stage for a final vote on June 16 or 17. The legislation mandates strict one to one backing of stablecoins with liquid assets like U.S. Treasuries, bans yield offerings, and requires segregation of reserves from operational capital. It also implements federal charter requirements for large issuers and a framework for state level compliance. A revised amendment by Senator Bill Hagerty removed in kind redemption bans and clarified non bank oversight, easing bipartisan tensions. If passed, the House may adopt the same text without further negotiation. Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan confirmed that BOA is developing a dollar pegged stablecoin but is waiting for GENIUS Act clarity before proceeding. Meanwhile, Societe Generale launched a U.S. dollar stablecoin under MiCA rules in the EU, signaling global acceleration in regulated stablecoin adoption.
