Morgan Wallen’s abrupt walk-off during the traditional “SNL” closing segment stirred up controversy, with many speculating whether it was an intentional snub or just an unintentional misstep. During the goodnights, he saluted the audience, hugged host Mikey Madison, and then made a beeline offstage, bypassing the usual cast send-off.
Adding to the speculation, Wallen later posted an Instagram story featuring his private jet with the caption: "Get me to God's country." While some interpreted this as a subtle dig at New York or "SNL," sources close to Wallen insist he meant no disrespect and simply left the way he had rehearsed all week. Meanwhile, the country-themed token $COUNTRY saw an initial market cap surge to $5.6 million before cooling to $1.7 million, with a total trading volume of $31 million.
