The Tron Memecoins are starting to really pop off. For those unfamiliar with Tron, it is a decentralized blockchain platform similar to Ethereum and Solana. Recently, multiple Tron coins have outperformed SOL and ETH coins, like $SUNWUKONG and $SUNDOG. There are plenty of other coins on Tron that are visible here. $SUNWUKONG is up an astounding 736% in the last 24 hours to a market cap of $12 Million. $SUNDOG, created 5 days ago, is up 16% to a market cap of $244 Million! Is Tron going to overtake Solana and Ethereum at this rate?

The trading volume is about the same for Solana and Tron, both hovering at $1.7 Billion. This comes after Solana is down 20% with its volume, whereas Tron is up 70%. It should be an interesting next few days!

FYI, it was rumored that $SUNDOG was created by Tron’s founder, Justin Sun, leading to many influencer shills.

NEXT STEPS FOR MEMECOINS!!!🗣

With the rise of Tron, comes various spectacles about what’s to come for the future of memecoins. People are bridging their funds over to Tron, which is pulling liquidity out of Solana. Plenty of rugpulls are occurring on Tron, which are being masked by the rapid growth of many coins. This can have a further wealth destruction effect.

As for now, the memecoin markets are in Justin Sun’s (Creator of Tron) hands. With a following of 3.5 million people on X, Sun has quite the platform to market on. For the future, many influencers expect this craze to die down in a week, where liquidity will eventually transfer back into Sol. Just today, there was over $1 Billion USDT minted onto TRON! WOW!
