$USDP, or “Dominant Peg,” is a memecoin mocking fiat backed stablecoins like USDC and USDT. It surged over 43K% percent in one day, hitting a $58 million market cap with $76 million in volume. The name plays on the idea that fiat isn't stable at all. With inflation, asset bubbles, and shrinking purchasing power, even toilet paper held value better. You thought you bought a 1:1 stablecoin, but really, you just got pegged by inflation.

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have officially launched Trump Mobile, a new wireless provider offering nationwide 5G service, unlimited data, and a flagship gold smartphone called the “T1 Phone.” The phone is priced at $499 with a $100 down payment and features 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 50MP camera, and Android 15. The carrier's signature offering, The 47 Plan, costs $47.45 per month and includes extras like telehealth, roadside assistance, and free international calls to over 100 countries. Trump Mobile promises no contracts, no credit checks, and U.S. based customer service with real agents, not bots. The launch coincided with the rise of the $T1 memecoin, which hit a $1.3 million market cap within an hour. So much going on in the US and his fam rolls out a phone lmao.

MONDAY MACRO UPDATE
Bitcoin dipped 2.8% following Israeli airstrikes on Iran but held above $103,000, now up to $106 Thousand with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index remaining in the neutral zone at 51. This resilience contrasted sharply with gold’s surge and renewed criticism from economist Peter Schiff, who argued that Bitcoin failed as “digital gold.” Schiff noted gold’s 2025 gains and pointed to Bitcoin's 15% underperformance against gold since its 2021 peak. Despite $1.16 billion in crypto liquidations, Bitcoin’s strength above the $100,000 mark and continued ETF inflows underscore investor confidence.
Meanwhile, altcoins are surging as traders rotate out of Bitcoin. Ethereum rose 3.5% to $2,615 Solana gained over 5%, and XRP jumped 3.8%. HyperLiquid (HYPE) led midcaps with 10% gains and surpassed Dogecoin in futures open interest, hitting $2.06 billion. Analysts point to strong institutional flows and speculation around upcoming altcoin ETFs as key drivers. With Bitcoin dominance at 61.4%, any dip below 60% could signal the arrival of a full altcoin season.
