SEC COMMISIONER SPEAKS WE LISTEN🗣
At the Bitcoin 2025 Conference, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce addressed regulatory uncertainty head-on, stating that unclear rules hinder enforcement and let bad actors operate freely while pushing legitimate participants out of the U.S. She emphasized that the SEC is actively working to incorporate external input to improve rulemaking. On the memecoin surge, Peirce offered blunt advice: “Be an adult” as investors speculating on memecoins shouldn't expect protection if things go wrong.
