Following the announcement that former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones, the political memecoin $BODEN saw a sharp surge in trading activity. The coin quickly spiked to a $4 million market cap on Sunday as news spread across social media and crypto trading communities. While the price has since cooled off, $BODEN remains up 47% today and is currently holding a $2.5 million market cap. Looking more in to the future, it will be interesting to see how the volatility of $BODEN is affected by his health issues. Feel Better President Biden!

ETHEREUM INTRODUCING NEW DESIGN
Vitalik Buterin has proposed a new Ethereum node design, partially stateless nodes, to preserve decentralization and privacy as the network scales. The concept allows users to run lightweight nodes that store only selected portions of the Ethereum state, such as specific tokens or DeFi apps, while verifying blocks without full state data. This would reduce reliance on centralized RPC providers and lower hardware requirements, a key concern as Ethereum’s gas limits increase 10-100x. Paired with efforts like EIP4444, which trims historical data retention, the proposal aims to support everyday users in running personal nodes and maintaining censorship resistant access. Despite the announcement, $ETH dropped 4.4% today amid broader market weakness.
